Aruba Access Points
Aruba wireless access points serve as on-ramps to aggregate wireless user
traffic onto the enterprise network and direct this traffic to Aruba mobility
controllers.
In addition to providing network access, Aruba wireless access points provide
RF monitoring services for wireless networks. These access points provide
connectivity to clients based on the 802.11 Wi-Fi standard, which is supported
by a broad array of consumer and commercial devices.
Aruba offers both indoor and outdoor, dual-radio and single-radio wireless
access points as well as antenna options. The Aruba architecture also enables
secure mobility over third-party wireless access points and wired network
switches.
Aruba has a broad portfolio of Access Points (APs) to address the needs of a
wide array of environments:
- Indoor and Outdoor Dual Radio Deployments
- Indoor Single Radio Deployments
- Challenging RF Indoor Deployment
- Ceiling Deployment
- Workspace Deployments
- Telecommuter Deployment
- Harsh Environment / Factory Floor Deployments
- Secure Outdoor Wireless Bridging Deployments
The Aruba line of access points includes multiple models, sized and priced to
support the varying requirements of different sizes of mobile enterprise
networks from large campuses to small branch offices.
Dual-radio Wireless Access Points:
-
Aruba AP-85FX/LX and AP-85TX Access Points
Supports advanced delivery of high-performance mesh and bridging services.
Ideal for secure user-centric enterprise network services and applications
outdoors on campuses, and storage yards, in indoor and outdoor warehouses, and
in extreme industrial production environments.
-
Aruba AP-124 and AP-125 802.11n Access Points
The high-performance 802.11n multi-function access points provide wireless
LAN access, air monitoring, and wireless intrusion detection and prevention
over the 2.4-2.5GHz and 5GHz RF spectrum.
-
Aruba AP-70 Dual-Radio, Multi-purpose 802.11 a/b/g Access Point
Ideally suited for advanced service delivery in mission-critical networks.
* Aruba AP-65 Dual-Radio 802.11a and b/g Access Point
A self contained, low-profile design is ideally suited for discrete
deployment applications.
-
Aruba AP-80M Dual-Radio, Outdoor 802.11 a/b/g Access Point
Designed for harsh outdoor environments where conventional Wi-Fi access
points cannot be deployed.
-
Aruba AP-80MB & AP-80SB Dual-Radio 802.11a/b/g Access Points/WDS Bridge
Ideal for extreme-weather deployments, offering a flexible solution to
supports a variety of applications using attachable antennas.
Single-radio Wireless Access Points:
-
Aruba AP-60 and AP-61 Single-Radio, Multi-Band (802.11a/b/g) Access Point
Ideal for dense AP deployments.
-
Aruba AP-41 Single-Radio, Multi-Band (802.11 a/b/g) Access Point
Designed for cost-sensitive applications below the ceiling and well suited
for deployments in the home, retail, and branch office.
Wired Access Concentrators
Aruba wired access concentrators serve as on-ramps that aggregate wireline
user traffic onto the enterprise network and direct this traffic to Aruba
mobility controllers. Aruba wired access concentrators are ideal for conference
rooms, auditoriums and other public areas where multi-user wired connections are
required. Wired access concentrators connect to client devices using standard
Ethernet and forward network traffic to an Aruba mobility controller where user-based
network access policies are applied.
-
Aruba AP-2E 2-Port Wired Access Point
The Aruba AP 2E is a low-cost, two-port wired access point designed to
secure network traffic from a user port across an IP network to an Aruba
mobility controller, where security services are applied to all user sessions.
